Up to 50% of sporting injuries can be prevented, and prophylactic (taping to prevent injury prior to playing) taping is a key technique to reduce the risk for sporting injuries, while taping can also help to support previously injured joints.

Our product range is suitable for use on all skin types. If you have sensitive skin, or latex allergies, we recommend using pre taping underwraps or Elastowrap.

Overall, we recommend you store products in a cool dry place.

To maintain the quality of the Elastoplast and Leuko RST’s (Rigid Strapping Tapes) and EAB’s (Elastic Adhesive Bandages) we recommend you store these products in temperatures of between 15 - 25ºC. The optimum best working temperature for the application of these products is 25ºC.

If you cannot store these products within these ranges please avoid storage in extreme temperature differences ie. extremely cold conditions of below 10ºC and extremely hot conditions of above 30ºC.

Do not store products in the boot of your car or truck where extreme temperatures can occur.

Taping and bandaging applied directly to the skin should stay on for a max of two days. See your health professional for more information and they can advise if you can keep it on longer than the period.

Always see your doctor if the wound is deep, bleeding or shows signs of infection like reddening, swelling or warmth.

Also make sure to seek medical help if you are not able to clean the wound properly. In case you have diabetes a proper wound care is of special importance. Always discuss any concerns you may have with your doctor and/or podiatrist, even for the care of minor wounds and skin cracks – especially on your feet.
